Materials that are grown, not manufactured
The same organism that fruits a mushroom binds agricultural waste into a solid, shapeable material.
Who this is for
For brands, packaging buyers and material partners exploring alternatives.
What we offer
Mycelium leather
Flexible sheet material as an alternative to animal and synthetic leather.
Protective packaging
Moulded packaging grown to shape — a replacement for expanded polystyrene.
Agri-waste valorisation
Spent substrate and crop residue become the feedstock instead of waste.
Development partnerships
Work with us on a material or form factor specific to your product.
How it works
- 1
Feedstock
Agricultural residue and spent mushroom substrate are prepared as the growth medium.
- 2
Inoculation
Mycelium is introduced and binds the material as it colonises.
- 3
Forming
Grown into a mould for packaging, or as sheet for leather-alternative material.
- 4
Finishing
Dried to arrest growth, then treated for the intended end use.
Common questions
Is this available to order today?
This is our newest line and is at development stage. Talk to us about what you need and we will be straight with you about what is possible now versus what we are still building.
Is it biodegradable?
Mycelium packaging is compostable at end of life, which is much of the point. Sheet materials depend on the finishing treatment used.
Can you match a specific shape or spec?
Moulded packaging is grown to a mould, so form is flexible. Share your product and we will assess it.
